In this article (Nuova Rivista Storica, Anno CVI, Settembre-Dicembre 2022, Fascicolo III) Andrea Bocchi reconstructs the confinement of Michelangelo Florio in the Roman prison in Tor di Nona and later in the monastery of Santi Apostoli from February 1547 until his escape in May 1549.

Thanks to new documents discovered in the historical archives of the former Congregazione del Sant’Uffizio, Bocchi reveals new aspects of Michelangelo Florio’s life.
